Cara has over 12 years of clinical experience working as a Women’s and Pelvic Health physiotherapist.

Cara joined the Maven Centre as their ethos and values aligned, and she wanted to continue to provide exceptional care for her women in Melbourne’s Western Suburbs.

Cara graduated from La Trobe in 2010 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, and she went onto complete post graduated studies in Pelvic Health.

In 2013 she competed a Post Graduate Certificate in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy and 2014  she completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Exercise and Women’s Health.  In 2015 Cara graduated from the Masters of Physiotherapy at The University of Melbourne.

Cara is an educator, mentor and presenter in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy. Cara also works in the Advanced Gynaecology and Functional Gut Clinics at Northern Health.

Cara has a special interest in management of prolapse, incontinence, chronic pelvic pain, sexual pain, complex bowel disorders and constipation. Cara uses a wide range of treatment techniques including dry needling, massage, biofeedback, exercise and pelvic floor retraining to optimise the pelvic health of her clients.
