Maven Centre was born out of the knowledge that we are only as good as the team around us; that any individual clinician is but one piece of the puzzle. Providing truly patient-centred care requires humility, that we go beyond ourselves.

Collaboration is the cornerstone of what we do.

Some common women’s health issues that we often see include:

  • Menstrual disorders, including: irregular, heavy, and / or painful periods, and premenstrual syndrome (PMS).
  • Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), which is a hormonal disorder that can result in irregular periods, acne, weight gain, and infertility.
  • Reproductive health issues such as infertility
  • Causes of painful periods, such as endometriosis and adenomyosis
  • Causes of heavy periods, such as fibroids and adenomyosis

  • Our team of all female clinicians see women of all ages, from teenage girls to women in their reproductive years and beyond menopause. In addition, we are a safe space for LGBTQI and trans people seeking gynaecological care.

You should bring your medicare care, and your private insurance details (if you are insured). You will need a GP referral letter to see one of our specialists and you can email this to us prior to your appointment, or bring it on the day of your appointment. You do not need a GP referral letter to see one of our specialist women’s health GPs.

Please also bring copies of any relevant tests, and ultrasound reports, or details of where you had these done so that we can gather this information prior to your appointment.

At Maven Centre, you can trust that you will be in expert hands, no matter which clinician you choose to see. The unique advantage of the Maven Centre arrangement, is having all relevant clinicians in the one place, who know each other, and can discuss challenging patients together, all while maintaining your care at the centre. If your clinician deems it appropriate they may request that you also see one of the other clinicians in the practice to provide you with more holistic care.

You can make an appointment by calling our clinic during business hours or by filling out our contact form. We will do our best to accommodate your schedule and find a time that works for you.

Yes, we offer virtual consultations for certain types of appointments. Please contact our clinic to learn more about our online services and whether they are appropriate for your needs.
