Carmen is an endorsed Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years’ experience in healthcare, providing compassionate, evidence-based care to women across all stages of life. As a endorsed Nurse Practitioner, Carmen is able to independently assess, diagnose, prescribe medications, order investigations and provide comprehensive, holistic care.
Carmen holds a Masters of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) and has extensive experience in primary care, women’s health, and management of chronic diseases. She is committed to creating a welcoming, non-judgmental environment where women feel heard, respected and confident in their healthcare decisions.
Carmen has special interests in menopause, perimenopause, sexual and reproductive health, cervical screening, skin health, and preventive health. She is passionate about empowering women through education, and shared decision-making, and crafting personalised treatment plans that support long-term health and wellbeing.
Outside of work, Carmen enjoys swimming, cycling, reading and spending time with family and friends.
