Dr Samara Radford is a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist dedicated to providing compassionate care across all stages of a woman’s life. With a focus on holistic women’s health, Samara combines medical excellence with a personalised approach to support physical, emotional, and reproductive wellbeing.
Samara graduated from Monash University’s Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery in 2012, and has since completed her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology through working at Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s Hospital (Sunshine), The Royal Women’s Hospital (Melbourne), St Thomas Hospital (London) and The Royal Darwin Hospital. She holds a public appointment at Joan Kirner, and is passionate about providing excellent women’s health care, whilst educating and mentoring the next doctors in training.
In addition to her training as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Samara also holds a Masters of Applied Science in Acupuncture through RMIT University. With these additional skills Samara can provide holistic care with options of both modalities as part of the treatment plan.
Samara is committed to helping women thrive, and partners with her patients to empower informed choices and lasting health. She has a warm and respectful manner, meaning every woman’s experience is valued and supported.
When not at work Samara loves gardening, bush walking, sewing and playing with her two beautiful children.
