Julie is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, who has completed a PhD which focused on diet quality in women of reproductive age. She offers evidence-based, compassionate nutrition care for women and families across key life stages.
Julie has a strong interest in women’s health, supporting clients with preconception and fertility nutrition, pregnancy and gestational diabetes (GDM), and postpartum nutrition. She works alongside medical teams to help women feel confident making dietary changes, support blood glucose management during pregnancy, and reduce longer-term health risks following GDM.
She also supports breastfeeding and infant feeding concerns, including solids introduction, evidence-based allergen introduction, and nutrition care for infants and children with food allergy, working alongside their medical team.
Julie has a particular interest in paediatrics and family nutrition, supporting families with toddler and childhood nutrition, fussy or more problematic eating, and building positive, pressure-free relationships with food. Her approach is calm, practical, and grounded in current evidence and responsive feeding principles.
Julie’s care style is realistic and supportive, focused on improving diet quality and health outcomes while respecting the realities of busy family life. She offers telehealth consultations and welcomes women and families seeking thoughtful, individualised nutrition care.
